The tutorials I present here are free and simple. You do not need to be an artist to achieve the desired effects. Anyone can do it. You just need a little patience and desire to create. My projects will include collages, scrap booking, distressing furniture, finishing custom frames, various painting techniques. You don't have to follow everything to the dot. Deviate, add your own touch, change colors, experiment. I found that a lot of people are afraid to try their hand at creating because they're afraid of failure. They are convinced that there exists some universal science to art and that they will never be able to conquer that science. ART IS NOT A SCIENCE. In art, there are no limitations or guidelines. You don't have to follow a specific set of rules. It's not math - your answer does not have to equal everyone else's answer. It's about what looks good to YOU. It's about what moves YOU. Don't be afraid to make a mistake because mistakes often turn out to look better than your original intention.
Having read all that, pick up that old frame or a piece of beat up furniture and let's make art. I will give you the basic idea and from then on it's up to your imagination. Don't forget an integral part of the process - to have FUN with it.
Do send me pictures of the things you did using the tutorials on this site. Perhaps you used a better medium or have an interesting idea to share. I will post them here for others to see.

UPD: I know I haven't updated this site in a couple of months. We have been going through selling and buying a house and to be honest my temporary living accommodations do not permit me to do any projects (space wise :-))).
